A Life of Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of the Church. At St. Francis Anglican Church, we believe prayer draws us closer to God, strengthens us in our daily lives, and joins us together as the Body of Christ. Our life of prayer is shaped by the ancient rhythms of the Church, especially the Daily Office, the Psalms, and the prayers of the Book of Common Prayer. Morning and Evening Prayer invite us to begin and end our days in the presence of God—hearing Holy Scripture, offering praise and thanksgiving, confessing our sins, and bringing before Him the needs of the Church and the world.
